Sexy Yummy Spine™ The Signature In-Studio Experience

Why this class is different

Sexy Yummy Spine™ is not a generic Pilates class. It’s a signature, somatic, spine-first method built from lived rehab through four knee replacements and refined in real studio results. You get precise cueing, tactile feedback, and a sensory-rich room that online can’t replicate. The goal is simple: reduce pain, restore flow, and make movement feel natural again.

How it works in your body

  • Decompresses joints: Supported positions and traction unload the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine to reduce neck and low-back pressure.

  • Rehydrates fascia: Rhythmic “spinal wave” sequences improve glide so stiffness drops and range returns.

  • Resets the nervous system: Breath pacing and slow eccentrics shift you out of fight/flight so muscles release and pain perception eases.

  • Rebuilds reflexive core: Diaphragm, pelvic floor, and deep abdominals are coordinated so your spine stabilizes without bracing.

  • Balances hips + pelvis: Sequencing restores lumbar–pelvic rhythm to calm SI joint irritation and hip gripping.

  • Organizes shoulders + neck: Scapular mechanics and gentle traction unload traps, ease headaches, and lengthen the neck.

Who it’s for

  • Neck + shoulder tension from screens and stress

  • Low back pain or morning stiffness

  • Desk and driving discomfort and postural fatigue

  • Pelvic/hip tightness or SI irritation

  • Anyone who wants restorative, precise, nervous-system-aware movement

Results you can expect

After one class

  • Neck and shoulder tension eases.

  • Back feels longer; breath is deeper.

  • Standing and walking feel more supported through the pelvis.

After 2–4 classes (two weeks)

  • Fewer flare-ups from sitting or driving.

  • Posture improves without rigid “holding.”

  • Sleep and recovery quality improve.

After one month

  • Noticeable spinal mobility and hip balance.

  • Even weight through feet; less guarding.

  • Confident, easeful movement you trust.

FAQ

Is this safe for low back pain?
Yes. Movements are supported and scaled. We focus on decompression and reflexive core.

What if my neck is sensitive?
We avoid loaded positions and use gentle traction and scapular organization. If during class you need support, we offer blocks and other cervical support for your comfort.

Post-surgery or hypermobile?
We build stability first, then range. You work within safe boundaries.

Is this a workout or restorative?
This is a transformative somatic restorative experience. Expect relief and better mechanics not exhaustion.
