Class Schedule

Small Group Personalized Pilates Training | 50 Minutes

Our studio uses STOTT, the “Rolls Royce of pilates” equipment. As a boutique studio with a focus on your enjoyment and safety, our classes are capped at 5-8 students, depending on the class.

Class options:

Radical Mat/Reformer/Tower. IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUS PILATES EXPERIENCE: To fully experience how pilates at our studio can help you to achieve your goals of feeling stronger and being challenged without being injured, begin with this class. IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER/LESS THAN FIVE CLASSES EVER: If your budget allows, your best first experience with pilates would be an exclusive 1:1 with our studio director. If you’d rather jump right in and be exposed to a class using the tower, mat and reformer, we recommend that you begin with any of our Sunday morning classes at 9am or 10am class. Arrive at least five minutes early and be sure to let your instructor know that it’s your first time doing pilates and what your questions or concerns may be. We strive to be a space where you can feel comfortable asking for and graciously receiving, help. Our studio is unique in that our instructors are comprehensively trained on the many pieces of pilates equipment (more than reformer) and consistently train in order to train you in ways that continue to challenge you and keep you feeling strong. Expect to move your body; this is not a “legs in straps” studio.

Pilates Strength Pilates is fantastic for resistance training, so we’ve switched it up and created a challenging, low-intensity and accessible strength-training class for all. Strength training and cardio for people who don’t strength train or have a cardio component but know that adding it into their regimen is a life benefit. This is low-impact weight training and reformer-based trampoline, which is more gentle on knees, hips and back but just right for that much needed core strength. Warm up, cardio, arm and leg toning and ending with body weight and functional exercises like squats, lunges and more. Keep the muscle mass that you have and stay strong and mobile. There’s no boot camp style teaching here. Pilates based alignment and slow, intentional lifting of weight. You will be sore so come more often! Offered two days a week, Pilates Strength combines the Cardio-Tramp®️ on the reformer, tower and mat-based Pilates with challenging body weight exercises, weights (3 to 35 pounds) and mobility moves.

Pilates Circuit offers you the unique experience of using most of the equipment that is the breadth of traditional pilates instruction. The reformer, mat, tower, Cardio-Tramp®️ and stability chair are all at your fingertips and working to help you feel stronger and more capable in your body. Paced with intention and an eye on alignment and form, there’s not another group class like it in San Diego.

Radical Cardio + Reformer offers a trampoline session on the reformer (STOTT Cardio Tramp) combined with an athletic approach to classical reformer and tower exercises. Don’t be afraid to try this class. The Cardio-Tramp is a unique and very accessible approach to cardio. Bring a hand towel if you like to sweat cause this class is sure to bring it, if you like.

Sunday Morning Reformer & Morning Reformer Wake up and move your body with this reformer class. Intentional movement with breath as you warm up to more challenging positions. The perfect way to start or end your week!

Prenatal Pilates is designed for pregnant women 12 weeks and beyond. Pilates while pregnant is one of the best things you can do for your body and mind during this wonderful transition. Pilates helps to keep pelvic core ligaments and muscles engaged and offer you the best opportunity for a return to fitness and your life after delivery. Expect a slower-paced flow designed to nurture not stress.

Restorative Pilates/Evening Deep Stretch was created for those who may just need a bit more time, modification and rehabilitation work. We’ve adjusted the pace of this class and it now offers very intentional, slow-paced movement accessible to most. Breathwork and foam rolling often play a part in the class, as well. Pilates was made for you and you shouldn’t allow a few issues to get in the way of your experiencing all it has to offer.

Sexy Yummy Spine™️ Don’t let the name fool you! While so much of this class feels yummy and delicious in your body, you will be able to isolate muscles and focus on strengthening weak muscles and that’s challenging! This group class uses the Spine Corrector and is exclusive to Radical Change.

Our studio director SYS™️ developed this flow by using pilates to help her rehab after 4 major knee replacements between August 2022 and November 2023. The Spine Corrector was designed by Joseph Pilates to improve spinal mobility. Consistent practice can improve back, neck and shoulder pain, as well as posture.

Additionally, this class focuses on your pelvic stability. Instability in this area can also cause low back pain, knee and hip pain. And with the support of the equipment, you may be able to experience pilates on a level that doesn’t cause or add to your pain.
